“And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve–But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15 NKJ)
We now seem to have a majority of people who have chosen to call what’s good, “evil” and they bless and celebrate that which is evil as “good”. We have come to what Paul described as the “last days”. When you are sick and go to a doctor, the doctor studies your symptoms to determine a plan of care for you. Paul describes the symptoms of the last days in this passage:
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.– 2 Timothy 3:1-5
Wow! Sounds really familiar, doesn’t it? Of course you understand that Paul is talking about folks in the church. Don’t be discouraged! There is a plan of care for us. Give a tithe of your day praying and communing with the Lord. Meditate on Him and focus on Him; give Him your love and adoration. In this season, meditate on the “words in red”– the words of Jesus. Continue following Jesus with all of your hearts and keep your focus on his beauty and his truth, so that you are not tempted to fall into delusion. Let’s join together in the preparation of His bride to be perfect and without any flaws.
