Time to Move On

Small churches and house churches are exploding all over the world. Just like fire ant beds after a spring rain–except our Fire is the Fire of God. Everywhere you go, there are little store-front churches and home gatherings. Something’s up! Maybe it’s time for you to establish a house church. Is the Lord tugging at your heart on this matter? Are you frustrated with the direction of the church you are involved in? Does it feel like the people are in a stupor? Does it seem like a train on a collision course? If your present church is rubber-stamping their blessing on sodomy, lawlessness, universal reconciliation or any other sins —and you know it— then they are in opposition to God, and so are you. That is definitely not going to score you points with Him.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the truth. If your church is not focused on Jesus, the Lamb of God, please listen to the Holy Spirit’s call. Wake up! You can miss it. Either you can be with Jesus and go to Heaven; or you can be on the next good thing somewhere else and go off into hell. No gray. It’s an either/or proposition. Don’t get caught up in political correctness, pseudo-love, and ear-tickling lies. Stop saying, “I am waiting for God to release me” in order to get out of the quagmire you are in. Your “release” is found in the following words of Jesus, as quoted by Matthew:

13 “Go in through the narrow gate; for the gate that leads to destruction is wide and the road broad, and many travel it; 14 but it is a narrow gate and a hard road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

15 “Beware of the false prophets! They come to you wearing sheep’s clothing, but underneath they are hungry wolves! 16 You will recognize them by their fruit. Can people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every healthy tree produces good fruit, but a poor tree produces bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, or a poor tree good fruit. 19 Any tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown in the fire! 20 So you will recognize them by their fruit.”

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants. 22 On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them to their faces, I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!”—Matthew 7:13-23

It is time to move on, to get out from under lawlessness, and to get into relationship with God. If you are seeking Jesus and desire to be His Bride, our hearts are joined with yours.
