A Dwelling Place of His Presence

The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice. 2 Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne. 3 Fire goes before him and consumes his foes on every side. 4 His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles. 5 The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth. 6 The heavens proclaim his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory. 7 All who worship images are put to shame; those who boast in idols– worship him, all you gods! –Psalm 97:1-7

Meditate on this: The Sovereign Lord of Creation–the One who holds time and eternity in the palm of His hand-He needs absolutely nothing. In all of eternities past and in all dimensions that exist, He actually chose to live and dwell inside of an infinitesimal portion of His vast creation. Wrap your mind around this. Not even the Four Living Creatures, nor the Cherubim, Seraphim, nor any other heavenly host have experienced this. Get this, there are angelic beings around the throne of God worshiping Him continually, but inside of you is that Glorious One. Christ in you, the Hope of glory.

So, are you a dwelling place for His presence? Have you got the eternal Lamb of God living inside of your very own spirit? If this profound truth is part of your reality, what are you doing about it? Is it evident to those around you? Blessings, RalhpSo, are you a dwelling place for His presence? Have you got the eternal Lamb of God living inside of your very own spirit?
